Seems like u guys might have some cap issues in the offseason.
U guys gonna not resign guys like Soderberg, mcquaid, Campbell & Paille?
Or do u think previous rumors of trading someone like Marchand or possibly Lucic will come true?
Seems like u have some young guys ready for bigger roles. Obv Spooner sticks out as one of them.
Or could there be some major changes with how disappointing this year has been for u?

McQuaid might be back. Soderberg we won't be able to afford and meh Khoklachev can be 4c next year probably without much of a difference. I wish Chiarelli traded him at the deadline. Paille and Campbell are as good as gone and that's not a bad thing. Campbell's done. Never the same after that slapper off the shin. Plus Bart's gone. Also thank god. A few pieces like Seidenberg, Kelly and Smith could be moved. I doubt Lucic or Marchand get traded unless it's for a 2-3 defenseman.

The biggest offseason addition will be to find a new coach. I haven't had an opinion on Clode one way or the other but I think it's time.

This is fun to watch, the wild card race. Losing boychunk really screwed up your d situation.

Would have been better to lose a forward than him.

I can't remember but the Panthers lost a recent game where they were really upset with the outcome and especially the officiating. Was that the last game against the Bruins? Not important, other than as a possible motivator and knowing that the Panthers should not be taken lightly. They are a very good, very young team, supported by some great vets (Luongo, Campbell, Jagr).

There's only one great vet named Campbell in this league and he's on our side.

Every other forward was given a NMC,

and I think there was something about not being able to trade Kelly because of an injury....

i don't understand all the line juggling. I figured Spooner and Pasta were set through regular season, Spooner sure made Kelly look better, but still no goals. What the heck is Pasta supposed to get out of playing with Campbell?

Kelly and McQuaid were the prime candidates for compliance buyout but both were on IR when the window to do that lapsed- both were also on IR the year before.

Not that I think Chia would've bought out Kelly for whatever reason.

Just when you thought the B's would zig, they zag, up is down, left is right, 2 games left , gut check time for this B's team, let see how they handle it. I wouldn't be shocked if the WC race came down to Saturday night in TB with the season on the line and the B's needing a W to make it in.

Did the B's chock this one up to an L before the game started? Seemed like they wanted to rest up for tonight rather than win last night.

I bet they could find a taker for Kelly this offseason. He's been good.

Campbell on the other hand... Seriously wtf. The other players on the team can't be happy about his usage. I'm fully expecting him to receive a Derek Dorsett contract this summer. Campbell will literally be the demise of Claude

Tough game tonight. Would be serious error to underestimate the energy that all the non playoff contenders bring to the last two games. They all know this is as close as they are going to get to the show. I think I would be far more wary of the Panthers than the Bolts who already have their invitation.

Al I can think about is recently losing to Buffalo and that being the reason we miss the playoffs.

if they dont make it there's lots more reasons than that.
How about losing to Toronto, or Carolina?
How about Clodes stubbornness with veteran players?
How about Chara not getting surgery when he messed up his knee?
How about their total ineptness in the shootout?
How about not scoring a single goal against the Caps all year
How about Bartowski
i could go on.. but....

I was trying to focus on something small and recent so I don't go into a deep depression and hide in a corner for the entirety of the playoffs
